We're HIRING! SALES DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVES - UNMANNED AERIAL SYSYEMS (UAS/DRONES). ABU DHABI:- Our clients who are an integrated technology leader specializing in the design, development, and manufacture of advanced autonomous systems for the global tri-service defence and security sectors are looking to hire an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Executive.
They are already successful in the delivery of battle-ready solutions including Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs), Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs), and cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and are now looking to expand their product range, hence seeking a high-energy, technically proficient Sales professional to accelerate their growth in the drone market.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of their aerial systems. This is a hunter role that requires a blend of technical credibility and sales grit. You will leverage your existing network within the defence, security, or industrial sectors to introduce the client's UAS capabilities to new markets and high-value clients.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and capture new business opportunities for the companies drone portfolio, including loitering munitions and swarm technologies - Client Relationship Management: Manage and expand a robust pipeline of leads using your existing contact list of decision-makers in the defence, government, or specialized industrial sectors.
Technical Sales Support: Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the operational advantages of our autonomous systems - Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging regulatory requirements (FAA, GCAA, EASA) to position our client as the preferred partner.
Proposal Management: Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to draft technical bids, tenders, and tailored solution proposals for complex client requirements - Exhibition Representation: Act as a brand ambassador at major international defence and technology shows (e.g., IDEX, UMEX, WDS).
Required Qualifications & Experience - Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, specifically within the drone (UAV/UAS) industry - Background: You must come from a Drone Sales or a Technical Manufacturing background (Aerospace/Defence/Robotics) - Network: An existing portfolio of client contacts (e.g. military procurement, civil defence, or large-scale industrial enterprise) is mandatory.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
